There are other alternatives to JA using the Standing Available list.
EX 1: I'll take that at MUP and you drop this with pay.
EX 2: I'm available for these other bases too. So, when JAs come around I'm the last one called. Let's make a deal.

If the schedulers are desperate or lazy, opportunities present themselves especially if you are creative. Straight pay - no thanks for me, but sadly I understand why a 1st year FO might do it.

I was addressing the "so call NK pilot shortage/migration" issue and our fellow comrades throwing grenades to does working hard, if there are issues, take them to the actual pilot, not here in fantasy land.

But, but continue ram, nothing like people in the same team trying to destroy its own.

 

While I agree with you in principle regarding the standing available list being bad for us as a whole (in fact I posted about it as soon as the memo came out), it's dangerous to encourage people to harass pilots on that list. I'm betting if you sent that email, you'd be out on the street so fast it would make your head spin-hence needing the welfare provisions mentioned. I see no cruel personal attack there.

Management always wins when pilots turn on each other. They'll just sit back and lick their chops.

 

Our ****ty N/C is already doing a fantastic job of dividing us. They refuse to fix the "slope" because it just wouldn't be fair if the senior CAs already making significantly more than junior CAs only get a smaller raise.

Someone mentioned "amateur hour" above. That's our MEC with their BS plan of forcing Ackerman on us as well as our N/C not having God---------- clue.

Completely disgraceful.
