Youre right, I fixed it. Union rep. None of us should stand for granting any relief whatsoever.

Wow that audio update was nice to hear. It sounds like SM is starting to steer this ship in the right direction, after being driven right toward an iceberg by the last joker.

All true, but won't last unless we are 100% behind , in all fronts. Fly the contract no more no less, save the free time for family and friends not for 100-200% avail "save the ship bs".

Been doing that since Aug 1st. Wish everyone would follow suit... The me first mentality prevails and there's too many guys that can't live off guarantee because they've accustomed their lifestyle after 100 plus hour credit months. They refuse to see the big picture and need to get "theirs" when they can.. A few pages back IJet or something summed up his me first mentality.. Too bad they don't realize they're hurting themselves and the whole pilot group in the long term! We're so nearsighted!

I wasn't on board with it, I figured everyone needed to do what was good for them as long as it was within the bounds of the contract. Ive changed my mind due to that last email. We've got to fly the contract and NOTHING more. No more being nice guys, no more helping the company out, no more doing anything but our job as outlined in the contract.

Glad the union is gonna hold firm. However I suspect very few niceties from the company in return. Expect more NOIs. Forget them honoring requests for training dates and or relief line requests. Just hope long term morale doesn't turn combative. I like working here just, Don't want to see it become a militant place to work. Don't wanna see Jeff Carlson type of tone from management. Food for thought .

Honest question(s).. I'm curious what guys are getting NOI's for. Who gives the Noi, base CP, RR?

I was wondering the same thing. The union made this sound like it's almost an epidemic. Should I start wearing deodorant now?!
