Spirit of NKS, Part II

Thinking the same thing. We have pay rates up to 178 seats, not including the 321s. C-Series will be below 178 and if they aren't there's not anything we can do about it. Look at the 320s with 182.

I remember BF saying something about realigning the schedule in September. May have some base realignment to notify the MEC about. Cost savings in consolidating bases, etc. They will need those cost savings to pay for our raise. Another way to look at it, "Hey, MEC, we are going to turn all your pilots' lives upside down unless you pay for your qol with a bargain basement TA.

If I remember right, this question was asked during the last Union phone call and in the transcript, they said they'd look into how they can distribute that information to the membership. Like everyone else, I keep hearing people have interviews elsewhere and are leaving. Since we keep filling up classes, I'm guessing management sees a benefit in higher pay rate guys leaving and low pay rate guys coming in.
Following contract rules... that seems to be a separate issue. My utterly worthless advice is merely don't skip reading the investor reports even after you're working for a company.

That's pretty detailed, I'm guessing it'll go more something like this: "okay guys, I got you all here together, you're the leaders of the pilots, let's work hard on getting this contract negotiations back on track. High five! Ready, ready, break!" Then there will be some backslapping, some pictures taken, maybe a beer, and that will be it.
There has to be some implied threat, we are at that stage. I'm surprised they haven't taken any hostages yet.

No no. No no. He will pull them in the room and say absolutely nothing. Then dismiss them. When pilots ask the mec what the meeting was about the mec will say "nothing. He said nothing". At which point everyone's head will explode that there is a mega conspiracy and this forum gets that much more entertaining.

You've heard it here first.......
Mesa has just purchased Spirit Airlines and we all get a guaranteed interview to work for Mesa.
The endless speculation is indeed entertaining. What's that ding I hear? I think my popcorn is ready.

Oh well, nothing we can do

If there does, heaven forbid, happen to be a base closure, everyone senior to me should resign in protest....
