You mean since December when they offered us that insult? That was last year. Sorry but the numbers don't show "en mass" this year.
Btw, ran into our Ord chief. He says we are moving out of L next year. Apparently AA is getting the gates and even building a RJ terminal next to L some where around the Alpha bridge. He speculates we're moving to G.

For Chimpy's sake I hope they don't close ACY. Can't imagine they would.
An ATL base would really cause quite a stir I believe, not only amongst Spirit, the shakeup will be pretty profound, but amongst Delta and SWA as well.
I would be curious to hear people's theories on Mr. Fornaro's relationship with Delta and whether this would influence the decision for an ATL base. It seems he's been less confrontational than Mr. Baldanza and I think would prefer to not antagonize the large legacy carriers.
Regardless, the rumors are flying fast and furious, I'm sure they'll only heat up as we get closer to September.

You mean Bobby "Vanilla Ice Cream Fornaro" and Basil Ben "BBB" Baldanza?

You are correct. It still baffles me why I get handed an airplane from another crew in Dallas with an OAT of 39 and no APU running. That's not looking out for your fellow crews, our FA's, or our customers. It's hot, fuel is cheap, so run the damn APU. Also, for our super Captains who are working so hard trying the save the company money, don't get ****y with me in ORD when I key up and call 'unable' when told to line up and wait when you decided to save the company $40 on fuel by calling for engine #2 30 seconds from the runway. I won't be rushed running the Before Takeoff and will burn through whatever savings you made making sure my aircraft and myself are configured and ready to go.

I get handed aircraft on regular basis that some crew decided to carry a Mx item to the next station because they are in a rush to get home or company boys. Idk?

Right on buddy. I am with you. F the cost index also. I fly with so many people here that are always in a huge rush to fly to the next destination. Take a min and look at your scheduled on time and adjust for that. Sitting on the ground in the 32R pad ****es me off as well as the pax.

PS. It costs a fortune to run that APU. I really enjoy sweating my b%*ls off at work!
Oh yeah, don't wear your green lanyard because your Iowa team is so great and you prefer to not be "ALL IN" and support your MEC and pilot group!
