So what kind of protections do we have being on reserve and being rescheduled? I am on R13 this month and was supposed to finish my last day RAP at 3am on the 7th. I was assigned a 2 day pairing on the 5th that finished back in on the 6th in the morning. Due to the hurricane I was rescheduled and now will finish back in FLL on the 7th around 6pm. According to the contract, reserves can go 4 hours past their RAP on the last day. (7am in my case) I never agreed with scheduling to adjust my schedule to go past my RAP, it was just placed on my schedule. Of course I was never notified by scheduling nor did I self notify. My question however is when I go past the 4 hours on my last day RAP, is that now considered working on a day off and will credit above my guarantee?

This shouldn't surprise any of us. They had days to prepare, yet like negotiations, they are completely unprepared.
Do like I did, just head out and go home. They know how to get ahold of you.
The company screws over pax all the time during wx events, why shouldn't we be able to pull out and say to the company it was a natural disaster and I did what made me feel the most safe.

More than 2 JRM's in any month or more than 5 in any calendar year. If the company offers you more than that, they are outside the contract. If you accept more than that, you are outside the contract.

No Quid No Go!

High Fives!

Nobody should be interested in quid. We've been shown that equals nothing in the past. Goodwill in negotiations? Then why are we the only ones without a contract? No contract, no go.

The email we got today says pilots are standing available to help!

I would man the phones... And give every pilot who called in the rest of this trip off with pay protection.

Yep, all the usual suspects out of ORD picking up the slack. Same 3-4 guys. I'm curious as to what they're getting because no way any of them could have any JRMs left. One pairing was in open till 30 min. Prior to departure. Now going late.....but hey....it's going! High five!
