· CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS – We are committed to reaching a Contract that recognizes the contribution of our pilots to the company’s success, while maintaining our competitive cost structure, allowing us to continue to grow
It is verifiable from ALPA financial analysis that an industry "standard" contract would allow them to reach this goal.
Further, if it weren't true, we are not here to subsidize and finance the growth of the airline.
The next paragraph was about how on/time is the most important thing to them.

Adding 17 aircraft this year? Is that accurate? Investor fleet plan called for 12-13 I think...

I personally haven't flown with many captains who weren't cool out of DTW. However, it seems that the company is just giving us even more reasons to want to leave other than contract BS. If we are flying with guys who are unbearable because we can't attract good applicants not only will moral go down further we will actually hate our job due to the awesome people we attract. Sweet!! I can't wait for what the future holds here at NKS.
