First they can pay the pilots industry leading compensation and still be an ULCC this has been proven with real numbers buy the negotiating committee. Labor isn't the only cost of running an airline and we are only a fraction of a fraction. How the other labor groups get paid is not our concern.

Second, why is anyone getting in a dock measuring contest with these jokers. First we spoke about how crappy spirit is and they defended it. Now they talk about how crappy it is and some of us are defending it. Do not defend spirit or our compensation in any way. It's not defendable. For all we know these trolls are plants by managment or Ford and Harrison in an effort to find weaknesses within the group for a 51% vote on some substandard ta or an effort to divide us. The only thing that is fact is that the compensation sucks and they can afford to pay us industry leading and still be wildly profitable. Do not defend this place.

Just did that too. This thread is way better without him. Everyone needs to ignore him.

Line out the door in FLL. It is the morning rush but I haven't seen it like that in a while. RUMOR is there has there has been an uptick in cancellations for crew the last couple of days. Don't know if it's true or if it's related to the line round the block in FLL. We can only hope that attrition is finally showing its face and or people aren't rushing to save the company for a couple extra bucks.

Did anyone get stuck in customs? I heard there was an outage in their system down there.

I had a conversation with a crew scheduler over the phone while working another issue. He said they are having a hard time converting trips this year compared to last because hardly anyone is picking up open time. Straight from the horses mouth I'd say. Not sure if that has anything to do with FLL lines.

There were at least 4 flights cancelled on New Years day out of ACY for no crews.
