They need to come to the table with an industry leading contract.

Maybe. Some guys who didn't think it was worth working extra might fly more now. First year guys are a great example.

Maybe Chimpy will come to work too!!

Yeah I'm pretty sure your wrong about that. If the pay goes up it will have the opposite effect. If you have say 5 or 6 days off and nothing to do you will be more inclined to pick up an extra 2 days because it may not be worth it for 800-900 bucks but if it's worth 1,400 - 1,600 you might be more inclined to get off of the couch for two days. Right now ( like many others ) I don't pick up open time because it's not worth it.

Scheduling call me yesterday and when I answered the phone she was sooo releaved and elated that someone was actually picked up their call. She said that "no one was taking their calls or calling back". She then asked if I would be interested in flying a OW from ORD to RSW then DH back. I said "no thank you", and she said "well thank you for answering the phone anyways"...lol

Got to love the financial conoceurs of the ULCC model, for that matter any model, specially the individuals that are not even employed by said airline, and have a saying on what to in God s name the "need", "plan" and "will" do! I love it.

Also the transcripts of the whole CS-Pilot conversation. Who effing cares, take or don't take the trip, nobody will NEVER know. Just mention that you were called.

G dammmm!

Training at Spirit is not easy. "Half Rate pilots" don't make it through the program. Something you would know if you actually worked here.

Even at double pay, it isn't worth leaving the family on my days off. Now if we got industry standard pay.......... I would work on as many days off as possible, because it would be worth it then. Productivity is based on the compensation.

That series was fantastic, side note don't mention Narcos to Columbia passengers making small talk. Apparently it didn't portray their country in a good way.
