I think its the same hotel you stayed in during the interview, Pear Tree Inn.

I believe it is The Extended Stay. It's a roll of the dice if you get single or double occupancy. The hotel has shuttle service to the Training Center. Of course it is always nice to have a car for more food options but not necessary.

This new holiday bonus pay memo is confusing. Since when does a two day trip that starts on the 20th end on the 22nd? Why does a day trip that starts the day before Thanksgiving actually touch the holiday?

I believe "touching" is exactly how it sounds. If a trip starts or finishes the day before or after a holiday, the entire trip is paid at 200%.

Absolutely bring a car especially since it will be colder and walking around isn't as pleasant. If you go to a gym, there is a Golds in Maryland Heights 10 minutes down the road that gives good deals to pilots.

If that is the definition of touching then the memo makes more sense.

I was told that CQFO's will be getting their own rooms...

Let me guess. " That place was nothing like Comair. Or, the 145 is a stupid airplane." Yawn. One of my friends was in your class and said all you did was whine from day one. Enjoy your blended rate.

Took the jumpseat with a commuters waiting? Did you email your rep? I know the STL reps and if you email them, you'd surely hear about it from the MEC.

Sigh... those guys. Even without commuters, If you have a positive space ticket, you have earned that. Stay back there. United oversells thousands of seats every hour, unless it's Christmas Eve and you are feeling nice, your generosity does not matter. they'll just catch the next bus like the other passengers. They think they're doing people a favor but they're just inconveniencing and annoying others. Yea yea, your giving up your seat to be in this closet with us for 2 hours so Susan can see her cat tonight. You just have to roll your eyes. Pet peeve...
