You mean the guy who first identified the ME3 career threat and joined forces with airline managements to effectively counter the threat? The guy who led Delta pilots and therefore the whole industry up contractually from the depths of our post 9/11, post BK quagmire? That guy?

It’s okay. I’ll let others be the judge, the subject matter is there for the fact gathering. In the last 13 years I’ve been an ALPA member I don’t think anything would have been different with my career based on who the ALPA Nat President is. Lee Moak was damaging simply due to his philosophy. It is these obviously political games that disgust me about ALPA in general.

In the end the winners in these silly political battles are the politicians parading around as pilots and their tagalong todies who enjoy DC. The losers are the thousands of dues paying line pilots who deserve better.

Long been aligned? Your premise is fatally flawed. JamesBond was an ardent supporter of the failed TA in fact. We very sharply disagreed over that.

Agreed on the political games, and that’s why the questions were asked about this as soon as it came out.

Seems to me that if someone actually wanted to understand the details of our contract, they would have started with asking specific questions on the FedEx forum, instead of vague innuendos first on the Delta and United pilots forums.

James has a way of expressing himself on the forums that can be hard to read at times. That’s why my first move was coming directly here.

We don't go over to Cargo because it is noisy, drafty and there is no place to sit.

80kts, Deny, etc.
If this is an integrity issue why even mention money/pension? That makes it appear like an organized smear campaign by some DAL pilots. Is a liar less of a liar when no $ is involved? Are they a worse liar when money is involved? I can only guess that the purpose of posting in MULTIPLE company threads was to discredit the ALPA president. Not really to get answers! Sad.

If you don’t think the guys at ALPA National are not pigs at the trough, you are not paying attention.
Do he makes less than most widebody CA’s at Delta. He should ask for a raise!

Mostly true, though there are places to sit...all worse than first class but generally better than coach.

Your "simple question," I assume is this one in the your post which started this thread:

Joe's letter was on APC 2 hours later. Funny, that didn't end your posting on the topic.

Next, the "follow up trying to figure out whether or not he lied about it," ... Did you really think you were going to find the answer to that on APC? I think it's obvious to the most casual of observers that you take delight in continuing the smear campaign.

Doesn't reflect well on Delta pilots, or APC Moderators.
