new Vacancy 18-05

Another round of re arranging the same old furniture. Oh I forgot we are getting some new to us furniture rejected from China.
Should be a handful of backfills if the planners stick to their Min numbers. That’s all the optimism I can muster.

If the snapshot holds to about that level on EWR320 I'd end up 31% as EWR320 CAP and currently I'm 31% EWR777FO. Only 4 months ago I would have been about 50%. I realize some seats are not seeing movement, but clearly the opposite is true in other positions.

Yeah EWR 320 CA is going alot more senior than it has in the past and I think % bidding is probably the reason. People can swallow a EWR/LGA commute for poor flying with the right seniority. This bid is a 20% increase in the base, and the base has nearly doubled since this time last year.

I’m about 70% on the EWR777FO list and would be about the same (72%) as a 320CA.
Temping, but not sure I’m going to find enough liquid courage to put that bid in and start working for a living.
Appreciate the move up, though!

He'll make more, but he's going to spend a WHOLE lot more time in his PolyPants to make those Benjamins. Spend an hour with a calculator and a legal pad, make sure you factor in QOL, TAFB, 0500 show times, swaps in ORD, sits in IAH and general NB BS on a daily basis and pat yourself on the back. Or, jump!
