Of that group, I wonder how many are taking earlier classes at other carriers? Hopefully the current poolies move along quickly!

I know one currently at FedEx who is resigning and accepting a UAL class.

There are no other reasons to leave one airline for another?

Late Jan interviews were just offered class dates. Feb-May is 15 weeks. 2 rounds of interviews per week, ~10 candidates per day of interviews, and a 75% success rate yields 225 poolies. So I’d say 200-250 is probably pretty accurate.

Latest vacancy showed 200 vacancies, so hopefully everyone currently in the pool has a class date by end of fall before a new vacancy bid comes out.

He must have read the article about cargo single-pilot ops.
