Do children of United Employees get hired with under competitive minimums typically or lack of minimum qualifications (no ATP, college degree, etc)?
Or is the real only benefit a guaranteed interview?

The order, in priority order, of who gets hired:
1. People who look good on billboards and in magazines
2. People who look good on billboards
3. People who look good in magazines
4. Qualified people

In Nov there’s a UAL fair for family members. I wouldn’t assume attendance will even come close to guaranteeing an interview.
ESPECIALLY with a lack of published requirements.

No ATP or degree? Are you kidding me?
I can't believe people still believe this in this day/age. Chances are they will be 100% over qualified, 5 family member employees and still not get the call.

Appreciate the responses. This was more out of curiosity since I knew United use to have a mentor program with the interview back before the merger.

Give it a rest Ready. You overreacted on the other post and here you are again poised to blow another gasket over nothing.
I'd recommend stepping away from the keyboard and actually reading whats been written before making any more of your uninformed observations.
On a happier note, just finished a great 4 day trip with this very professional and diverse individual and couldn't have been happier. 'Course I had to scold her for wearing the incorrect uniform tie but other than that, easy peasy.
