I did one last year with the ewr chief. Super good and laid back guy. I got the why united question but other than that it was mainly just a conversation.

I have an upcoming meet & greet with ORD CP Bo Ellis. Anyone have any insight or experience?

I took a dude in. He’s a best CP in the best run CPO in the system. Straight shooter. It’s a shame he’s getting older...closer to retirement.
It’ll be straight forward...tell me about yourself and why United. He’ll pass on all of the latest info he can provide. Awesome boss.

Have fun

I ll second the ewr CPO , my few dealings with him have been great . Very accommodating guy and serves the pilot group well.

FG is the best and most pilot-friendly Chief Pilot at United. He is smart and very personable so relax and be yourself. Tell him why you want to be a United pilot and how you will be an asset to the airline.

Assuming a meet and greet goes well, how long until you can expect to get a Hogan invite?

Took 9 months for me. All it does is add to your app score. So it depends on where you’re stacked before the m&g.

I’m still waiting over a year later. Also attended the family expo in November.

It's no longer the silver bullet it used to be. A buddy of mine had a M&G, phone never rang. He's flying for another airline.
