SFO pilots, where do you live?

Medboarded and briefly medically retired on the TDRL for 18 months, now back in the active reserve (SELRES). More common than you think for OIF/OEF veterans. How about you, are you current/prior military?

Congratulations. I'm starting a trip tomorrow so I won't be checking these boards much the next few days, but if you have any more questions about my military background (given your curiosity so far), please feel free to PM me. Otherwise, have a good weekend.

Nope, was more just curious about whether that was common in the Navy (if you were a traditional retiree and a reservist). While not unheard of in the Air Force, it wasn’t all that common when I was retiring, but that may have changed in the last several years, too.

Fair enough. I don't know the rate of service connected injuries for AF pilots but when I was getting med boarded the military hospital I was getting treated at definitely had some AF pilots who were also going through the IDES process with me. Only AF guy I kept in touch with ended up on the PDRL and didn't go back in.
