yup - you could read it between the lines for a while. And this P2P stuff is all about testing the water.

maybe it’s time to speak our mind at one of those P2P sessions.

That seems awfully presumptuous to reshuffle so much when we haven’t even voted yet. Scope may be “settled” but we still get a vote. Not saying one way or another how it would/will turn out, but this is a lot of money, planning and logistics when we haven’t even seen a TA yet.

What's sad is two ALPA carriers getting screwed with and the non union carrier wins again.

Something else to ponder, how many millions did United spend to ramp up ExpressJets E-175 operations then to shut it down in a year. What a waste of money.

Agreed. Were we supposed to laugh watching someone fall to their death while talking scope? Messed up.

United didn’t lose money here. They secured the aircraft and signed a deal with ExpressJet to fly them. Airplanes still flying and will continue to generate revenue during the transition to SkyWest. I agree with all the sentiments regarding non union Skywest being the beneficiary as being a gut punch. Would much rather see ExpressJet continue to grow this fleet to a point in which it is economically feasible to operate two fleets. Would like to see United rid itself of SkyWest one day.

The London van driver told me that the company needs the scope concessions by September so that the new RJ’s will be in place by summer 2021.

Uax go away ? Wishful thinking.
According to the article I read United signed a new 10 edeal with xjt to operate the 145s.
So you have 10 more years of the wurst passenger plane ever built .
Maint delays and cx will only get worse as these old tired things near their end .
United is in love with the rj and they would bring on 150 more if they could .
This passion they have for the rj will eventually catch up to them and bite them in the rear.
I hate to say it but the mgmt at United isn’t forward thinking at all .
