Furlough estimate

X2. But only on the CAL side. I’m honestly not complaining - it’s done and none of us can change it, ALPA has zero desire to change it. Just pointing out that for every single sUAL pilot who says that they got screwed, there is an equal and opposite sCAL guy who was equally screwed in some other way.

So it looks like you were hired by CAL, furloughed, still on furloughed when the merger closed in October 2010 and eventually merged in with United pilots who had been hired 7 1/2 years before you in April of 2000, and you are complaining about pass travel? You’re kidding, right? Looks like UALPA got you your pay restored to your hire date. Maybe you need to be grateful for that. I’m sure those April 2000 hires would like to have their seniority longevity restored as well.

But I'm sure you'll expense a pricey dinner because your roll was missing....

Just remember that for the next merger, when a 5 year JB, Alaska, Spirit , Allegiant Captain gets merged with a now 20 year United Captain. We were in a great position a year ago to acquire one of these airlines and do very well in a seniority integration because of longevity and the number of wide and mid-body Captains up against the narrowbody airlines out there. Now it would be a bloodbath. Lets hope United doesn’t buy anybody.
