Is that person XJT by chance? 2nd decile here and no news yet.

I also heard that 2nd decile Mesa are getting CJOs.

I'm worried that the fact that we (XJT group) apparently don't have an "Aviate Administrator" could be hurting us.

Are you sure they know you are flying? Just a thought.

I’m not on the hiring team but from my understanding it’s the 4 year degree they are looking for. If you have lots of leadership experience such as LCA work, management work with your union, or something in the military that would set you apart, that can SOMETIMES be enough to get you an interview without the 4 year.

Plus one on this in an early aviate phone call they told us you basically needed advanced leadership Director of Ops, safety, chief pilot etc.

They also said in one of the calls that they understood the challenge that some were going to have meeting that requirement and that they would look at everyone on a case by case basis. I'd be willing to bet that there were thousands of UA pilots that went more than 6 months without flying.

I also know there were a few with CJO's in the initial 300 that said that they hadn't touched an airplane in over a year. Were they given classes?

Has anyone been called and actually asked about this? What I've seen so far, it seems like everything is being done by email.

I don’t know the answer to any of those questions. It sounds like it would be worth reaching out to them. Case-by-case may mean you need to be your own advocate here.

or if you been a star on a the bachelor no education is required. Think he dropped out of school prior to completion.

Is there any update from the Aviate pilots? Are you getting class dates?

I know that last month’s decile 2 have been given class dates (those that meet the requirements). I have heard rumors that some from decile 3 have been called, but I don’t know anyone in that group.

Not all. I'm decile 2 - have been since the beginning.

Based on people that I have talked to, I may be the #1 XJT Aviate guy (unconfirmed) and I haven't heard anything. My coach can get no information either.

An XJT guy junior to me got an email stating that he didn't meet the requirements - again, for me, crickets.

If there has been anyone confirmed from decile 3 that has gotten class dates, or anyone from XJT that has gotten class dates, I would like to hear from them.

I know someone in decile 1 that HAS NOT received a call or email about anything. Definitely meets all the requirements, however off the street guys can interview tomorrow and be in class in 2 weeks. Aviate can wait , meanwhile everyone else that didn’t slug it out at uax gets to build seniority and probably upgrade before you.

NO
Most if not all of the uax carriers are understaffed. So instead of canniblizing themselves, Ua has put a preference on OTS hires .
Most aviate guys have been waiting since 2019.
If another offer comes up you would be crazy not to take it . Aviate guys might be another year or so or longer before moving on.
