Future of Aviate

United can’t afford to let many AVIATS move on as their UEX operation is imploding. Shutting down XJT isn’t working out as planned. Yet another reason these hiring “schemes” never work out that well.

Ahhh, good old Joe. Move on to a major yet? How’s that RJDC lawsuit? You did more to ruin Xjet then UA.
All you are is a bitter old man who is un-hireable with all your baggage

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, my guess is that there was another person that is not a "he" that also went? I definitely don't have all of the info - nobody does.
I just found out that someone in the 7-27 class was an XJT alum, and should have been an Aviate candidate. What I can't figure out is how that person (who was junior to me at XJT) and the person who went to C5 and got an 8-15 class date (who was SIGNIFICANTLY junior to me at XJT) are getting class dates and I have HEARD NOTHING.
Either the "List" is a complete mess, or there is some other criteria that they are using to arrange it that they are not telling us about. It was supposed to be, those who interviewed before a certain date in December of 2019, and who were from the same company, would have the same FIFO date and would be placed on the FIFO list in seniority order.
It appears that has not happened.

My understanding is it had nothing to do with the company you worked for.
Just date of interview, date of CJO. So if you interviewed with a mix of different airlines, you are all around the each other in the FIFO list.

Anyone who interviewed in the first "wave" (which was some date in December 2019 - can't remember the exact date) should have been arranged on the FIFO list by seniority within their own company. In all fairness to UAL, they never said how they were going to blend Mesa, Air Wisconsin, CommutAir, and ExpressJet people - this has always been one of my biggest complaints and they have been extremely "secretive" about the list. I would have hoped that it would be balanced, but who knows.

I have no idea what happened, I've just been trying to piece this together since I am one of the most senior XJT people to interview via "Aviate" and I haven't heard anything personally, but I've heard of people junior to me getting class dates. To say that this is frustrating is beyond an understatement.

For someone who interviews as an Aviate candidate right now, that is how it works. When the program first came out, there was too large a group of people to do it that way because they had shut off the CPP, added Mesa and Air Wisconsin to the program and had a huge back-up of people to interview. So to try to make it fair, they created two interview "waves" for the FIFO list.

The CPP was also rolled into the Decile thing when Aviate came around and muddied the water as well since it turned into a FIFO list. Prior to FIFO list, it was supposed to be a certain percentage from each airline in each class. I think it was 25% for XJT and 10% for C5 at the time for CPP. When the Aviate thing started, the percentage went away and kept as a UA secret now how many go in each class.
What Decile were you in when they last sent out an email a few months ago? I know of Decile 2 getting class dates now.
Also, have you contacted your coach?
