Thats weird . I confirmed with my friend last night that he is in decile 2 , hasn’t heard anything. Met all the requirements long ago . Dosent make sense . |
I don’t think anyone in Aviate has received class dates in August from my airline. Email they sent doesn’t seem to be very accurate and misleading. Seems to be better to go off the street than this program.

[QUOTE=Autopilotinop;3273523]No one in my airline has received any class dates in August through Aviate. My boyfriend works for a different Aviate airline and it's the same news there...nothing!! Seems to me that the program is in a stand still or paused. Going off the street is faster. Know 2 people who interviewed OTS 2 months ago and got class dates in August. Few Aviate people I talked to at AW waiting patiently interviewed in 2019. Both of them are interviewing at different airlines this week feeling slighted and losing a lot of seniority at UAL. Personally, I don't know what I want to do. My bf is thinking Aviate cause he's new to the airlines and needs experience in the 121 world. I have my time and based on what is required in Aviate, exceed all of them, so I'm thinking OTS. Thoughts?[/QUOTE
OTS 10000% You will build seniority faster if you get in. People are loosing faith in this Aviate system . People off the street are getting in almost immediately but you will keep slaving away at the uax carrier for who knows how long .They say by March of 22 but as we all know that’s no guarantee. |

The question is, if you have a successful interview, which path will get you there more quickly? As of now, the answer is off the street. The Aviate line is moving very slowly. In the future, that may not be the case. But as of now it is. |
OTS

That's what I was leaning towards seeing the timeframe all these pilots are having to wait. I can see the frustration of waiting this long on their faces. I know getting into the program is not a CJO, but only a handful of people, maybe 6 or 7 have gotten a class date through Aviate since UAL started hiring this year. Appreciate your input friend. Definitely not as advertised. |

It sounds like you are deciding whether to interview through Aviate or to try to get an interview off the street. I know other pilots who are also deciding whether to join an Aviate carrier or go to a non-Aviate regional and try to get an interview OTS.
