They've since fixed this, but the MSO visual 30 following the RNAV approach that dumped you off six miles & 45 degrees off from the runway was pretty sporty in MVFR night conditions. If you flew it exactly as recommended in the 10-7 pages, you wound up Space Shuttle high on the approach. The go around track took you right into the mountains.

Only happens a couple days per year, but cars pull over on the side of the freeway to watch the show. It is spectacular.
My favorite plane watching as well.

North Bend OR (OTH). Circle to land off the ILS 4. Right circle from the left seat, wicked tailwind, don’t hit the hills, don’t hit the bridge, don’t hit the barges to a 5900’ runway that’s wet.
Don’t miss that at all.

All 3 visuals into St Barts. Makes you remember what’s so fun about this job.

ILS 31C circle 22L into Chi-town's quaint little alternative airport (can you tell I'm a SWA guy? )

Full white out conditions onto polar sea ice can requires some concentration. White Sea ice with a high overcast makes for no visible horizon. It’s easy to let yourself get lulled into a false sense of security and start descending into the ground without realizing it.
