. Fun in the DC3, 727 we were always too heavy with the 747 and had to fight our way into the 4’s.

“Captain Zulu”

(Sure, I've flown with a few guys who probably shouldn't have a driver's license, let alone an ATP, but there are those kinda guys in every outfit.) Anyhow, I'm just pointing out that some of the most difficult airports in the US -- ASE, SUN, OTH when the weather is bad -- are either exclusively or mostly flown into by regional pilots. And yet we are apparently all ex-felons, guys with multiple DUIs, or learning-impaired, according to some of the nonsense on this forum...
TL;DR: inferiority complex, indeed.

I know there are a few tools out there that think that, but most majors do look on that experience very favorably. My current employer seems to seek mostly Military and experienced regional guys. Many of them from your current employer.

Northport stacks, south stanchion Throgg’s Neck, LGA tower cab, Willie B, south on Hudson, right turn at Statue, and land on 29 at EWR between 22L arrivals. Rinse....repeat all day. How’s that for a blast from the past?

True, true. I guess I phrased it poorly. I need to stop taking anything I read on the Internet too seriously.
