Brilliant comeback!! Were you an English major? If so, that's very nice.

I see what you did there. Just a typo using the phone. But hey, when an opportunity presents itself right? I haven’t decided which is more glorifying, the cockpit headshot or the wingtip over the curvature of the earth. Very impressive.

Ok, I have to agree with you on that one. I’m envious.

not sure what B/C contributions are, but the way I understand it is at DL we actually get 32% into our 401k to make up for the fact we are getting 1/2 our pay. As i understand it we get 50% of our highest 12 consecutive months of income in the past 36 months. We don’t get PS while on LTD but PS does factor into that high 12 month $ amount.

That is how I understand the policy, but I have not looked too much into it.

This is exactly how it works. (I just came off LTD). Also, where Delta's LTD outpaces United's is that there is no max. We had quite a few A350 Captains who made over $1M in 2018 due to a staffing issue that caused non-stop greenslips. After that year, if they could find a reason to go out on LTD, they could have pocketed over $500k per year until age 65.

thanks for confirming. I’ve had it explained to me this way and I thought it was too good to believe. I’ll take it though.
