More and Earlier 737 MAX orders...

yes the 319 will be here for a while but I bet we see a 1:1 with 320’s heading out as MAXs arrive. Other than the 757 the 320 has the most planes OTS and store currently with 2 of them sent into retirement in GYR prior to COVID.
MEC update says 94 new MAXs in the next 3 years that’s nearly 1:1 as we have 95 320’s.
the growth aircraft will be the 30 319’s from easy jet and the 30 737 700s from southwest.

Mako’s beef isn’t with the fleet plan, it is with the erosion of the contract and the benefits that usually come with seniority. Perhaps when you’ve been kicked in the junk as many times as the senior guys have, you will also be negative and skeptical of any company announcement.

Now that there's funny. I'd happily read his pooh poohing posts all day so long as he includes visual aids.
A little bummed to see us getting even more uber Guppies instead of 321s. But on the flip side, it also seemed to me like this company always put in orders when demand/prices were high. But assuming we got a smoking hot deal this time around, I'm glad to see some evidence that we have learned to take advantage of a buyers market. It positions us well for many years.
