Completely false. I did TXL, ARN, CPH, and BCN for 8 years on the 757. Doing 5 trips a month I stopped for fuel a total of 4 times. 3 in a 12 day stretch where people were stopping coming out of LHR for fuel the winds were so bad.

No different then the 321 will be. And no not every boeing is going .81. The 757 is filed for .78 all the time and if you go .81 you won't be making it back all that often depending on where u come out of. Many times the 767 is filled for less then .80 as well.

There's rumors that they will be adding tracks or designating tracks for slow aircraft like the airbus and 737.

I have not taken a 757 to Europe, but I have taken one DEN-KOA, DEN-OGG and DEN-LIH. We did our crossing at .80-.81 for those flights. I just assumed that Europe would be similar. I understand that the winds along the NATs can be crazier than in the Pacific.

I never flew the 57 at .81.....that’s just ****ing gas. .79 was about Max before you just started wasting gas....it’s been 5 years but has something changed? The 767 we did .80/.81.....

Wasting gas, why would anyone want to do that?

because when you are at the limit of what your plane can do then you need the gas?

Nice to see a photo of Slim! Some of the young kids may not recognize him.

Especially when it costs 10% to carry whatever one might add.
