I mean, that's a very subjective thing for any of us to tell you.

I think the fact that you don't walk out with a job offer gives you a lot of time to critique yourself on what you could have done better and I think it's normal to second guess yourself.

That being said, if they're interviewing roughly 105 people per week and running classes of 48 per week, that's roughly a 45% acceptance rate. So, depending on if you a glass half full/empty person, maybe this can help alleviate some of that stress.

So this would mean they cut about half of the interviewees? That doesn’t seem like great odds to me.

I guess it’s just a new world for me doing this. Thank you for the response.

Everyone is nervous for the biggest interview of their life. That’s a good look to an extent. It means you want the job or you wouldn’t be so worked up. But if it gets to a point where you start rambling and can’t put a coherent sentence together they can only give so much leeway I suppose. I’m sure you did just fine.

It's a little less cut and dry than that because the 105 includes Aviate candidates. I am not sure how much that component makes up of a newhire class.

The cjo>class lag seems to be going up so they may be stocking the pool and giving more offers/week than they can train

I know quite a few people now that have offers at United and at least 2 other legacy/majors airlines (usually FedEx and/or Southwest or Delta). I think that United knows this and they they are not going to get everyone to come to class that they give a CJO to.

As of now, I think the wait time is 6 weeks.

Gibson & Barnes was the old company, but I think M&H also sold one. It’s being phased out whenever they get around to the new uniforms (paused due to COVID), so it might not be something you’d get a lot of use out of long term.
