I have full faith in the US government science and experts after all they always get something as simple as the food pyramid right every couple years.

 

Except it is not just the US government. It is all governments (except maybe Brazil) and the world’s scientific community telling you of the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.

I’m not sure how I fit that description, at least in this context (though my ex-wife may disagree ). I don’t believe I’m being “annoyingly insensitive” when I asked the obvious question: “If the grandparents are vaccinated, then what’s the problem?” How are the people in this category at any significant risk if they are vaccinated?? Is there a minuscule risk that they may contract covid from another person? Of course, thats true with most viruses/vaccines. However, it is completely unethical to vaccinate one group of people in order to protect another group. That is undeniable. As far as being “slow to understand”, I think you may mean I am hesitant to agree with your point of view, which is true. But that doesn’t mean I don’t understand. Many things in life can be understood, yet not agreed with/condoned.
