NVM; they're CASS.

Yes NAC is in CASS and since we are cargo only we only have non-rev ability on Hawaiian and Alaska
So only way I travel is by jumpseat.

"For United you only check in at the ticket counter if it's international."

That is not true, for the last 5 years of jumping on United I always listed at the gate. There is no other way to do it
if you are OAL,, they do not use MyIDtravel or ID90 websites, like AA and SWA and others.

In fact , even that varies a little. In HNL they tell me I can't list until 1 hr before departure. On the mainland I have been able to do it as soon as gate agent
shows up.

Seems like you are confused… you list for international at the counter. For all domestic flights (to include AK,HI and US Territories), you list at the gate. Although someone may let you jump the line earlier than 1 hour, they shouldn’t be. It’s considered a pretty crappy thing to do.

On United and United Express, offline jumpseaters are prioritized behind all UA and UAX jumpseaters.

Multiple offline jumpseaters are prioritized by time of check-in. There is no pre-listing or online check-in. You list and check-in at the departure gate no more than 60 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights. The agents are not supposed to allow jumpseaters to list/check-in more than 60 minutes prior to the flight but there is nothing in the computer to prevent them from doing so.

If you are bumped, your check-in time does not carry forward. You have to list/check-in for the next flight at the new gate no sooner than 60 minutes prior to departure. Your old listing may be rolled-over but it can't be used for the jumpseat on the next flight.

When they refer to international jumpseat, they're talking about true international - Europe/Asia/Central & South America.

The best explanation is that the Spirit jumpseater was checked in for a previous flight but got bumped.

Jumpseat priority (check in time) does not roll to the next flight (though I think that it should).

It has in the past when I was jumpseating. Not sure that OAL rolls, but UAX and UA rolls to the next flight with the rest of the non rev list.

A jumpseat card can't be issued from the jumpseat PNR that has been rolled to the next flight. You have to get a new check in time for the next flight.

That's not how the system has worked over the last couple of years. If the list is rolled, the order stays the same in each category of jumpseats.

The category for DOH stays and adds in the new names in DOH order. The TOC keeps the original check-in times for those that get rolled. If the system is messed up, then it's messed up, but that's what it has been doing.

Sorry, but that's not how the system works either. The Captain has final say and authority on who goes.
