I have no problem building more time/ stats and I've only been at this game for 3 years. But also 38 years old prior enlisted USAF

Oh ok, probably the 0 TPIC then, but who knows. Good luck and keep up the great attitude!

No… plenty of people hired recently with 0TPIC or degree.

How's your volunteer work? Mine is absent - maybe that's why I can't get a call. I'm a 121 capt/commuter 5000 TT and 3500 TPIC who takes care of my family and does AF Reserve on the time off. It's ok if they hold it against me though - I wouldn't have it any other way. If they want me to switch teams, I'd be happy to, but not if I have to take even more time away from my family to make it happen. Has anyone been hired without volunteer work?

My volunteer work was 5+ years ago. I don’t think it had much weight in my application or interview. I was also a member in a few organizations, but never anything more. I would recommend a quality application review and prep service if you haven’t done so yet? Other than that, keep at it, they’re hiring a ton!

The new app doesn't even ask for volunteer work anymore. I had a lot on airlineapps.

I have no idea what the formula is because I seemingly didn’t do anything you’re “supposed” to do.

-No volunteer work
-No app review
-No interview prep
-No LORs
-No recruiting events
-No association memberships with groups I don’t actually belong to (example: being a member of NGPA even though you’re not gay).
-4500 TT
-2000 TPIC
-Prior national guard

Don’t be a sellout. I think you’re doing right by your family to not volunteer. Live a moral life and keep leading your family and I believe they will call eventually. Good luck, brother.

Who you work for is important these days… Kirby seems to really enjoy stealing employees from competitors.

The guys who interviewed me were talking about how many Envoy guys they see specifically. Of course there's no data on it, but the general consensus seems to be that Envoy guys are getting poached in large numbers and with less exciting backgrounds. My interview group was two Envoy guys, one other regional background, and a bunch of ex-mil talking about which missile is best for the MIG 29.

Thank you, my brother. That's the most encouraging thing I've heard all week. You've charged me up!
