What was your availability date that you had listed on your app? I’ve heard that plays a large role in when the process begins to move forward.

For me, I received a CJO on a Friday evening and had a class date offer first thing Monday morning. It was shockingly fast, but my availability was immediate. I’ve also heard of it taking 30+ days for some people following the CJO.

Yeah, my delay has had to do with my avail date of mid-September. For one, the onboarding department doesn't even want to start your drug/background screening until they know you're <5 months from a start date.

There are email addresses in the CJO email you receive, and you can reach out to one of them. I've always seen a response within 1-2 business days, so that's encouraging.

I think they're working hard to thump the closest alligators to the boat (immediate/rapid availability pilots), and letting those with more distant dates sit in the CJO pool. Makes sense given how many they are hiring.

Is anyone else in the RAP process? I was told the RAP team “volume is pretty high right now.”

Thanks
It’s probably really rare to get through with the RAP process. People in Aviate have recently lost their flow date for not being vaccinated.

Default United RAP

Got the CJO in November and RAP was approved, make sure you follow all the steps...which are vague. They will approve it but you will swim in the pool until lawyers and HR agree to bring you in, which as I mentioned CJO November...

How soon after selecting a class date on the “interviewer assistant” did you receive the personalized CJO that you have to sign and email back?

So did they give you a class date or are you still waiting?

No one with a RAP has been given a class date.

Meanwhile, over at Delta they completely did away with the Covid immunization(shot) requirement for new hires this past week.

I'm genuinely curious, why isn't UA bringing on the RAP pilots at this point and are they going to be bringing them in for class any time soon?
