Anything we sign will go 2 years minimum past the amendable date while we slowly go through negotiations. If they are really offering a lousy 2 year deal, hopefully it gets shot down hard. What worries me is that I can’t remember the last time we said no.

Seriously....did anyone else here talk to the P2P guys a few weeks ago??? The COMPANY has been trying to close the deal but hasn't been bringing a big enough pot of money to get the NC to agree. Clearly something has changed.
If by 'WE' you mean the pilots via MR, I think the last no vote was 1997 (mid term wage adjustment). If 'WE' means the MEC, I don't remember the last TA they voted down. There are a lot of reasons they vote the way they do so I wouldn't say they supported everything the sent to MR. If 'WE' means the Negotiating Committee, I'm pretty sure they've been saying NO a lot since Dec 21.
My conversation with the P2P guy was very insightful. I doubt he told me anything your reps can't tell you on the phone.

Do you mean to tell me the same CEO that sent furlough letters to 1/3rd of the pilot group and forced ineffective vaccines on us (most of us got COVID after the fact anyway) wants us to accept a concessionary agreement after ~4 years of negotiations?
