Default AVIATE list non existent

So it seems like by the week Aviate is changing by the week giving false hopes for pilots wanting to go to mainline. There is no actual list to see where you are in order to flow over. It wasn’t a flow before then it became a flow. They are the only mainline carrier required to have a bachelors degree meanwhile everyone has dropped this requirement. Who is running this program none of it makes any sense .

Are you in the program? There should be a POC who can answer your questions and consider your suggestions & complaints.

Default List never came out !

If you decide to opt in, United will complete an initial eligibility check before placing you on a carrier-specific Aviate list based on your Aviate entry date. All pilots who opt in by March 31, 2022 will be placed on the Aviate
list in seniority order with an Aviate entry date of March 31, 2022.

So is there updates regarding everyone that is in it to see where they stand or will there be email coming out? Cause I talk to people want to know for planning if they decided to bail out to go somewhere else.

No email coming out. Nobody knows where they stand on the list. It’s a big mystery at this point.

that’s the point- keep it as opaque as possible. Instead focus on some outlier example for marketing purposes. But that’s what the entire profession feeds on - haven’t we all heard about that WB CA that made 800K last year?

As frustrating as it is, as non transparent as it's supposed to be, as much of a carrot dangle that it is, it's STILL a much EASIER path to mainline job than before the program got to this point.

Bear in mind that the whole point of this and similar programs is to keep the oars manned at the regionals. The point is not really to flow regional pilots to fill mainline seats, they get more than enough OTS applications without aviate. Manage your expectations accordingly.

This.

Can't believe how many fools out there continue to believe that AVIATE will magically get them to UAL faster when in fact it's designed to do the exact opposite.
