He can be a good guy and an inept negotiator. That certainly isn’t mutually exclusive. I have a good friend who is a wonderful person but a truly $hitty poker player. He just can’t read the other players. And this is a darn high stakes game.

I for one I'm happy they put this agreement forward for us to vote on. I don't understand all the gnashing of teeth over this. All we have to do is do our job now and vote this thing down 90 to 10. That will send a clear message to our Union, the company, the industry and our fellow pilots that we won't accept substandard contracts anymore. So simply vote no and this will all be taken care of in 2 weeks.

What he did was extremely courageous.

oh everyone knows Council 5 Chair supported this and once he knew it had the votes to pass he cast a no vote knowing it was potentially garbage to the average line pilot. Very smart move but this T/A is on him just as much. Just like the Council 11 Chair etc.

LOL. Exactly. He’s trying to save his own skin now. Give me a break. All this money and finally he listens to the line pilots. No polling nothing since pre pandemic give me a freaking break. Union rep votes yes to eliminate union jobs at the “qualified” discretion of management. POS! Needs to resign ASAP.

I’m saying this CA publicly put out that he screwed up and is trying to make it right. He’s not out there every day playing used car salesman like the NC and Brad are and doubling down on this TA. So yes I think people screw up and when they own it sometimes they deserve a second chance. I may be in the minority and I’m as firm a No voter as you’ll find, but I still think second chances can be earned. I don’t care if it take 6-18 months. Our current contract is light years ahead on QOL/QOWL and I’d rather have it than the TA. If he believes what he wrote then he’s actually an asset to the pilots of C11.
Just my humble opinion.
I’ll put on my flame suit now lol

We all know some pilots will vote based upon the vote of the LEC. Granted a little murky in C11. Nonetheless, knowing your public stance will affect voting, how would you feel if you reversed your decision but kept it to yourself?

Uh, no!
This guy is trying to save his 94.5 hours per month. He had no problems with PRA 2020, as well as the myriad of LOAs and MOUs that were given away by Todd Insler in 2020 and 2021.
This guy is part of the 16 vote majority that Insler enjoyed to pass those LOAs and MOUs at MIDNIGHT, without discussing it with the rest of the MEC because they already had the votes to give Kirby whatever he wanted.
With Hamilton, it was still business as usual, until…
NOW.
No one wants this POS TA, and now the guy’s sorry, he didn’t know, etc.
BULL EFFIN SHT!
REJECT AND RECALL.
