It's not being cheap, it's more so the afternoon interview. I'm an early riser, so I'd have a lot of time to kill in the hotel in the morning. Even if I could get a late check out (I'd guess noon most places), I'd still have to find something to do to kill time before going to the interview.

Addendum
Perhaps an open question, but how does United feel about changes to the application listed on the addendum when you interview?
Specifically, I took one course at a community college a decade ago and forgot to list it on my application in the education section. I only discovered I had forgotten it when I obtained my undergraduate transcript for the interview documents and noticed it listed under the transfer credit sections. It was an honest mistake, I included it on the addendum, and I feel like it's fairly easy to explain. The rational part of me says this should be no big deal. I'd imagine they don't want to see any major changes like not disclosing a DUI or checkride failure. Ultimately United is my dream job, so I wanted to see if the masses had any similar experiences. |

They will ask you at the end of the interview if you want to add anything that isn't on your application. Usually they're looking for (from what I hear) DUIs or tickets. But that is fair game too. That's an innocent omission that they shouldn't have an issue with. Just tell them you forgot to add it.
