Assuming you arent MIL coming from pointy jets.. It's very low time to be at this level. Be humble about it and ready to learn.

Trust me, I am beyond grateful to be to get a call from to get a call from UA. I do have a bit of imposter syndrome about it and feel like there was a lot of luck involved. I am not MIL, but I do come from a ULCC in which United is competing with.
degree, some low level union & outside volunteer work, and 121 instructor exp. Basically average pre covid. It's just insane to see CFIs going to ULCCs and then coming here after 750-500 hrs. It is what it is. Cut the senior folks some slack if they have a reaction. 10,000 hr RJ pilot hires were typical not too long ago. |

What is the hiring process like? After you submit your application is there a cognitive test to take in order to make it to the interview? I did one back in the day for a different program and it was pretty difficult and I didn’t make it to the interview. Additionally, approximately what TT is United looking for when hiring from LCCs?
1-2 weeks after app lock you will get a assessment. Search this website for that info. After that, interview invite within days. |

Finessed is a troll who may or may not work here. Bobby Lee is right. Very few of our guys will begrudge you the luck of good timing, but to a man, no one is going to respond well to entitlement. Recognize your experience level means you have a lot to learn and your position gives you a golden opportunity to do so, & I think you’ll have a very positive experience here.

Travel to/from Interview
Hi everybody, I am currently running into some issues booking my flight to my interview. When I type in the PIN for the promotion code, the United website tells me it is incorrect. I get a message saying to enter a valid 10 digit pin, but mine is only 9 digits. I wanted to see if anybody else has had this problem and any potential solutions before calling their reservation number. Thanks in advance!
