So let me get this straight. Flying will be taken from bases that 98% of the pilot group flies out of and given to pilots in a new base that less than 2% of the pilot group will fly out of and this is going to make the 98% of pilots happier? We don’t even have a TA to vote on, so not sure how any of these have to do with how we vote on an agreement we don’t even have.

Rational thought isn’t required to have a membership on this forum. Neither is the ability to spell, form complete sentences, make a compelling argument, or having even a perfunctory understanding of the contract.

APC is for entertainment only and in the same vane as pro-wrestling. If you imagine every post being authored by a steroid-amped narcissist wearing a Speedo and spewing spittle as he blathers, then, this place makes a whole lot more sense.

Of course the only difference between me and all the other morons on this forum is that I make the Speedo look good! But, a moron nonetheless.

Consider how management regards the UAL pilot group after digesting the ignorance that’s self-disclosed on APC. It’s breathtaking.

Anywhoo, regarding the math. 100% of the pilots will have the ability to bid any new base, in seniority order. Freezes will not restrict a pilot from bidding a new base. As everyone might guess, it’s clearly spelled out in the CBA under Staffing. The percentage of pilots who will enjoy a new base depends on the staffing set by the company.

That is all

Don’t care what base you assign the flying as long as the lemmings from the new base aren’t like Cleveland Reps.

New bases and a new contract are completely separate discussions. One has nothing to do with other, and one is not predicated on the other.

Birdie is telling me MCO/TPA 737 base for May 2023 with 125 FO’s and 125 CA’s. Will be a full base with a chief pilot and all. LAS domicile, too, but will fall under SFO base.
