That’s my bet. Any takers?
Add LAS 737 and 320 and I'm in.

I don’t think there is a hard limit. LAX-SNA is 2:00, looks like TPA-MCO is about the same.

it’s about 1.5 hours or so. Depends on traffic. Not too terrible

Will take a lot of wind out of the AA hiring sails. I know a ton of pilots who want AA because they’re the only legacy with a domicile in Florida.

I'm guessing MCO/TPA, LAS, and SD with one of the LAX crosstown combining into SD to form a new base and the other crosstowns staying with LAX. I'd guess SD/ONT, and LAX/BUR/SNA. Wildcards...BOS and SEA.

Kirby and ZS both stated in recent TH that recruiting is one of the motivations for new bases. Florida, LAS, SEA, PHX….it’s easy to guess the players they might be going after….pretty much all of them.

it’s kind of cute though. How likely are new hires gonna get one of these new bases?

If it’s NB only…or no one knows how the trips will be etc. that’s what people use to say about WB or captain at one year and a day on 756.

Highly likely we’ll see a SAN base either as a stand alone base or co-dom. SAN is an FA base, multiple people have mentioned SAN will be next.

LAX-SNA is 43 miles

MCO-TPA is twice as far at 92 miles

both have horrendous traffic in between

I-405 vs I-4 (and with I-4 there are no alternative routes)
