100 787s to replace the 767 and 757-300 would still be 25 growth planes going by the fleet counts on APC. Maybe as United takes over more flying from the regionals they use the 737/bus for that, and use the smaller 787s to take over some of the high demand narrowbody routes.

We’re also essentially not flying to China right now yet haven’t shrunk. Assuming that returns at some point or to some degree it’s going to take some aircraft to do it.

and that was just a quick 10 second google search.

How many Airbus pilots and crew were killed in the A400M flight test accident?

If we take narrowbody frames alone, boeing has almost 4 times the hull and life loss as airbus.

Hilarious that some people actually thought United and United alone discovered untapped long haul revenue/demand out in the world that warranted their fleet grow by several hundred wide bodies. Geez
well apparently United did discover untapped long haul markets. We didn’t park one single Widebody and we still don’t have enough airplanes to fly our 2019 schedule…….so where did the planes go El Peso?

It was 4.

Airbus was already under pressure because the A400M project is years behind schedule and hugely over budget.

It’s much much higher than that! Boeing was building airplanes in the 20s.
