I only trained at the old CAL “double-wide” one time, but it sure was fun to say “Houston, we’ve had a problem” in the sim.

Not to mention it doesn't decend out of TOD on its own which is a complete joke.
^^^ could t wait to get back to the Boeing after 9 months ‘flying’ the Airbus… too many quirks.

I’m sensing a lot of “I didn’t bother to study the flight logic and I’ve hurt myself in my confusion.” 😂

I have 0 complaints about Fifi. You can either accept that she’s weird and french and once in a blue moon you’ll actually have to do pilot stuff, or fight it at every step of the way and be miserable.

I haven’t flown the guppy so I won’t trash it as a pilot but as a passenger at least the APU is usually running on the bus during boarding.

You didn't explain the difference between the NG and the first generation glass Guppy's. If you have nothing, then you can't claim they are somehow magically safer and must lump them into the -300,400, & 500 pile, and therefor negate what argument you were making.

Do you honestly think the 737 (any version) is safer than the A320 series?

Because the FAs ask you to start it so they can make coffee. FWIW…I start the 737 APU before boarding every time.

We're having a Boeing vs Airbus argument? What is this airliners.net?

Any other questions??

http://www.airsafe.com/events/models/rate_mod.htm

And actually the A320 was designed in the 70s and produced in the 80s.

Okay, the subset of 737NG has a slightly better record than the A320 series in its entirety. Not exactly apples to apples, so it should be by your definition only A320 series made during the same timeframe as they 737 NGs. I can guess how that would turn out.

The bigger question, is do you really think the 737 is a safer plane than the A320?
