As far we* know, United is still planning on hiring 2000+ next year. The CRU may have been a little vague. Pretty much we all expect more captain vacancies going forward, just maybe not 200 at a time. More like regular smaller ones of 40-80.

*we as in regular non management line pilots

I went 2 days early just for this reason, especially from the east coast.

First 3 weeks of October but it doesn't always go in order, some people in early October didn't get a date yet while some who interviewed later did.

thanks both. Feel pretty good about the why United and technical portion but a little worried about the TMAAT questions as I heard from AviationInterviews they are using software that words the questions oddly. Been working with a prep company but their questions are what I’m more familiar with on past interviews. Any tips for the TMAAT?

Be sure to answer in the STAR format and do NOT neglect the R portion of your answers. My prep company had a packet that had 2-3 dozen sample TMAATs that I sifted through my logbooks to find good fitting scenarios. Good luck!

Just checking… going into your United interview and only using AviationInterviews as your prep service? Not saying to lean heavily on someone else, but is this all you’re using?
