It’s been less than a week.. Let’s let this play out before we start putting it in the same category as 9/11 and Covid. Pilots are so quick to declare that the sky is falling. And yes, I was around and my career was impacted by all the mentioned events.

Just a year ago the UPF was in a “Furloughs are coming! Get ‘yer house in order!” frenzy over tariffs.

I would lump age 65 and 2008 into the same event. 65 just exacerbated the events of 2008.

Any vague updates or rumors regarding street interviewing picking back up any time soon? Summer? Fall? Any reason to be optimistic as someone who did a CP M&G?

Nothing. It’s just still the general feel that it’s primarily military, Spirit, and Aviate folks.

I would say though that you being an F9er helps your chances for being at the top of the pile when/if things pick back up again.

This just your perception. That has not happened recently, so don’t take it personally. You haven’t been excluded amongst your inexperienced peers based on experience alone.
