I'm convinced Strawberry is the same troll as Lnavvnavpath (the fictional Spirit guy who had to "sell his dogs" to bring in money in case he got furloughed from NK). And probably the same as Pipeman, the fictional ex-Special Forces operator, now an airline pilot, who was afraid of airports. The self pitying ridiculous style is the same across all 3 accounts. Why the mods let this continue, I have no idea ..

From what I’ve read for the past hour, it sounds like street hires have slowed a bit but may ramp back up in a few months. Either way, I figured I’d throw this out to get a rough estimate and some opinions as to where I stand

Non-UA Regional Captain, 2800TT, 1750ish turbine, 550TPIC, union volunteer work, 4 year degree w/ a clean record aside from 1 checkride failure in college, no 121 failures. Had a M&G in December which went great, a few other internal LORs as well

I appreciate the insight in advance! I’m sure my flight time is lower than what they’re ideally looking for at this point in time, but any advice or comments would be great!

They aren’t sending many Hogans out to street hires right now. Exception if you’re military or NK.. and even the latter seems hit or miss for now.

Have friends who did M&Gs in December and January who still haven’t heard back. Rough out there!

Definitely possible. Try to go to a conference ASAP. I had almost identical stats (including M&G) and got the hogan shortly after attending a conference in October and having them see my full situation in front of recruiter I think really helped. I was told that your specs (what I had too) are exactly what they r looking for , so don’t think you don’t have a chance. Everyone was saying the same thing just a few months ago too

Good luck! Seems very low to me given the average person having much more experience, but there is always an eight ball in every class. You never know if that might be you.

From: 18%er but I’ll enforce UPA23 to the last period.

I recently discovered the “ignore” feature here. You will still see their bloviating tripe if they get quoted but it does reduce the wasted bandwidth.

Yeesh, I dislike the online persona at least as much as anyone, but will never root for professional failure. Maybe some maturity and humility will kick in during qual.

FWW they aren't wrong though. Hiring is happening but with a big focus on UMPP, Aviate and NK. OTS interviews are fairly limited at the moment. Interviews are supposedly 60 a week instead of 140+ like last fall. I too know of those with meet and greets and still crickets. This is per both what someone was told at a meet and greet and first hand from someone in recruiting.
