Right now there aren't a ton of Hogans going out for people in the "traditional" bucket. Mostly UMPP due to the backup of traditional CJOs, from what I've heard. Seems more are hearing the same.

I remember last fall they (hiring) said they wanted to keep things at 90 days or less so with hiring bucked down from the 2500+ it was sounding like before, they have folks waiting more than 90 days to class. The good news is I was told this should clear by summer, so hopefully those of you in the queue are hearing back this fall. Maybe I'll win one myself :P

I am encouraged by the rate at which people who had successful M&Gs go on to interview at some point. I think my own personal best case scenario is Q3/4 of this year at best, unless things change. For those also waiting to hear back just remember that they aren't really sending Hogans out currently to traditional path folks. Check back in summer. Good luck!

Any recents Hogan’s been sent out? I see interviews going on at the TK still but haven’t heard of any hogans going out recently.

Not to street hires. Only UMPP (idk how Aviate works). Reading between various lines, I don't think we will see street hires get many (if any) Hogans until we approach Q3, subject to demand changes of course.

If the max -10 gets certified as planned this year things will get pumping real quick. I heard 2600 is back on the table so there has to be hogans going out. They are trying to keep interview to CJO to class short

I’ve heard both things. 80% rumored to be UMPP/Aviate. That would make sense for the short term but I don’t think that’s sustainable long term. They sent out a ton of class dates today, stocked full of mid January interviewees, the CJO pool has to be running low. I can’t imagine UMPP/Aviate can staff them for that long.

2600 is definitely not back on table.

Non-UMPP mil pilots have been getting invites too, meaning off the street hires.

I don't see why Max-10 certification would meaningfully affect hiring this year? UAL isn't delaying 737 deliveries in 2026. That's why a chunk of -10 orders were converted to 737-9s, to keep the deliveries going instead of waiting on the Boeing/FAA certification dance.

Same here, furloughed NK guy with 6300TT, I've had the app in for close to 6 months and nothing.

This. We have over 10 777s parked due to engines. Numerous 319/320s parked to reduce cycles. Would be surprised if we hired 1000.
