I guess you don’t really know what Birth Tourism is………. because they at least legally are American. It is a totally legal (although not without controversy) very expensive medical service that has been practiced en masse to many a upper middle class Chinese families ….in order to acquire Birthright citizenship….and in the case of California there of course other ancillary benefits. So most wealthy Chinese pick Southern California……big revenue for UCLA hospital system

Finished my interview prep. Now it’s time to do the thing. Hoping for the best. Something making me really nervous is a new rumor - UA to only hire 700 in 2026. Half expecting my interview to be cancelled. So nervous.

I am simply asking if anyone knows the latest on hiring #s and if the ~700 new hire estimate is real.
