Default NK Furlough

I've been furloughed from NK for over a year. Everyone says UA is taking the NK guys but I can't seem to get a response. I should be competitive since I have 6200 TT and have A320 B747 MD11 types, 5600 Turbine time. Any help on what UA is looking for?

Have you had your app professionally reviewed?

In general it seems that right now- A four year degree, 1600TPIC, less than three total training/check ride failures, including less than two 121 failures and flight current are the big ticket items with deviations from some of those acceptable depending on circumstances.

If you’re flight current, have you had your application reviewed and met United at a job fair yet? If not, probably worth doing so.

I have letter of recs, have not had a professional review yet which I will get done. My big problem is TPIC time. I logged thousands of hours for a janky cargo company flying that never upgraded. Do you think with high TT i would still be considered?

I highly recommend a CP meet and greet too. That’s what did it for me I believe.

From: 18%er but I’ll enforce UPA23 to the last period.

The highlighted part right there is most likely what the issue is. Are you flying anywhere right now? If so are you able to upgrade and get TPIC?
