Oh ok good to know. Just passing this recent news I got from my CPO. Maybe TPIC supersedes that.

Yes, I think that’s the gist of the climate right now. Back to more traditional TT, TPIC, and degree. However, I think years left seat in a Bus is going to supersede a degree for an otherwise top-quality applicant. Straight from a 172 to right seat of that bus, not so much.

Does United offer health insurance on day 1?

Also, if hired, are you able to push your class date back? If so, how long?

thanks

Yes, day 1.

WHY would you ever want to delay a class date at a legacy other than mandatory military commitment?? Hiring 200+ each month in late 2025-2026 and likely beyond that is a TON of seniority to lose if you delay

because my wife is trying to squeeze in a surgery before years end. Most likely I’ll take the first class and she’s going to have to wait. I’m just exploring options

If you interview today you might get a December class date. I think you’d be fine. Accept the CJO and tell them why you need a class date after 1/1

Take the first class

coverage is day 1 and you can get a $300 deductible plan for the last two weeks of the year.

2026 you can keep that plan or do something cheaper as you prefer

Good luck to everyone trying to get hired. I had a good interview and just got the rejection email. Wish I knew why… Guess it’s time to ride NK into it’s liquidation phase
