Interviewed yesterday and I think it went ok. It felt friendlier than my interview last year. We were told the hiring numbers and rates keep increasing; now they want 200 a month starting September. When I asked at the end of my interview if a Nov or Dec class date would be reasonable to expect, the pilot told me to expect even sooner. They're trying to target as little as 30 to 60 days interview to class. We were also told they're trying to give some priority to Spirit pilots.
6 people in my interview group, 4 from Spirit. 2 captains and 2 downgraded FOs. They other 2 were a Kalitta 747 pilot (don't know which seat) and an 8 year regional captain.

200 a month starting in September!? This is new information. Probably why they need more 737 and Airbus instructors. Thanks for sharing it and good luck. Let us know if you get hired. Hope you and the other NK pilots all land on your feet, hopefully at United.

This seems to line up with hiring 700 for the remainder of the year. Great news.

I would also add that with TMAAT, only share ones that have good endings. For example with conflict resolution…you probably don’t want to share the one that resulted in you or them calling pro stands or if involving a customer calling the police.
While you are the protagonist in every story, there can be no Bad Guys.
So Emerald Coast suggest having a database of stories that you can easily recollect and have told them out loud before.
Yes,use the Situation Task Action Result (STAR) chronological order.
What you don’t want to do is get trapped and to have to think really hard of a story that fits the question exactly but doesn’t have a very good ending and wont accentuate your good qualities.
