Answering the rhetorical question, for those two numbers yes I think it would make a difference. Southwest, American, Delta and United can get deep into a 3000 applicant pool pretty quickly and then rj fo’s will start getting hired again. 13k (assuming they are all vaguely qualified) is a sustainable pool in most scenarios.

I am a mentor for an organization and provide mentorship to some FOs at a couple airlines. They are often asking me about hiring mins at various carriers.

Not so long ago, 500-1000 SIC turbine could get you a legacy job. If UA hires 2500+ in 2026 and AA/DL hire 1000+ as well, not to mention Alaska joining the mix, what are the thoughts on how low minimums could go? Obviously the gameplan is still to get TPIC, but even I myself have 0 TPIC and am staring at a legacy interview. Anyone more experienced than me have insights?

Hi everyone, I just received an invitation for the Leadership Inventory Assessment as the first step in the hiring process. Does anyone know what the next steps are after the Leadership Assessment?

Take it, get an email to schedule interview, interview, interview board review, CJO, paperwork, class date. Don’t **** it up.

Probably nothing that low, at least for the next few years. They will come down from 6500TT, though, as the ex-LCC CAs dry up.

Legacies hiring ~4800 pilots a year is around the long term norm. 0TPIC interview invites will probably remain few and far between.

Anyone else had an issue with the app system giving a “duplicate application” error when trying to update availability date? Don’t know how that’s possible, I haven’t updated for about 6 months

Can anyone give me a rough estimate… if I interview Sept 1, how long till a class date? I assume classes are filled already through the end of October. I’m hearing 200 hires in Nov, and 200 in December. 300 in the pool? So end of Dec or January class would be expected?
