I love that you're trying to demonize the Chinese Communist Party over their visa policies, but Trump's administration wants 5 years of social media history, DNA, and bonds up to $15,000, and oh by the way the visa fee is $185 per head to boot. The "land of the free" sure seems more draconian than the CCP, but hey, we're winning so much who cares about government overreach driving away our customers?

Biometrics and social media history has already been required for years by the state department to get a visa in the US.

"Land of the free" does not mean that the whole world has a right to be here

The obsession with some of these guys of turning everything into an unhinged ideological rant is really quite eye opening.

The new Trump policy extends that for every person entering the US. It was not previously required for most visitors.

This is a “sir, this is a Wendy’s” moment if I ever saw one. I just don’t get it tbh

That actually wasn’t what I was trying to demonize them about. If anything I was trying to draw attention to opportunistic nature of the price which has existed for at least 20 years (yeah ask me how I know). They charge that much because they can…they know visiting thier country is in demand for both business and leisure reasons.

Maybe next time you visit Shanghai (judging by your post unlikely) maybe you could post a Facebook update of yourself along the Bund………..oh that’s right you can’t.

Or I got one for you…..Or on June 5.. you could go around Tianamen Square in Beijing and ask people what occurred here in 1989…..some guy with a tank…….you will be astonished how many people……have no idea what you are talking about……maybe you dont even know……..do you ever wonder why that is?

Has Donald Trump been able to wipe Jan 6 from our memory…….?

I think that’s what half these people aren’t getting is the fact that the countries we are now going to require this from previously didn’t need to have a visa. They were countries that I guess we would consider our friends? Australia, UK, Germany, Austria, etc.. but now we’re gonna apply that to those countries as well.

We depend on international tourism at this company. So if you think this isn’t going to slow down tourism, you might want to take your political blinders off.

No, but it’s not without lack of trying. You even showed that it’s a slow roll to erase or change the narrative around an event. Given enough time I would put bets that it’s exactly what he would do.
