This. The only job I didn’t get was after I way overpaid for interview prep for a F9 interview. I found myself worrying way too much about their format and style of answering questions, im
guessing I sounded like a robot to the interview team. 6 months later re interviewed, got the job. My wife would just ask HR questions off aviationinterviews, credit to her as she has a knack for interviewing/resumes. I found myself to be more genuine and relaxed during the interview. I had the same strategy for my United interview. It worked there too. In my experience just be prepared and be yourself. Good luck to all.

i think aviation interviews is certainly the most cost-effective prep for the vast majority though.

, but you’re gonna find out a lot more about someone by asking them about their last vacation, the car they’re rebuilding, the soccer team they coach, or their goal to visit every MLB stadium- whatever- than asking them to parrot back a handful of pre-rehearsed TMAAT monologues that may or may not be complete BS.
Not every race, color, religion, sex, or orientation is going to know or care about your old Chevy or your favorite soccer stadium, hence standardized TMAAT questions.
Maybe back in the day, talking cars and sportsball was a good way to identify who were the ‘good sh**s’ to hire from the ‘squadron’ but not in today’s HR driven hiring process.

Hello everyone.
I got the email today for scheduling an interview, but I will be starting training at another airline in less than a week. I still don't have a schedule for this other airline (indoc / simulator dates etc), so I am struggling with what to do and don't lose this interview opportunity with United. I assume rescheduling the interview later on would be terrible for my chances. But missing a class or simulator day at my "guaranteed job" to attend interview is unacceptable to me as well.
I haven't clicked on the link yet. My question is: what should I do? Does anybody know how much time I have to enter the link after the invite email before it expires? The email doesn't mention any expiration date.
Thank you.
